I have some blog candy to give away as well, but more about that in a moment. First, let's talk party hats!
Now it's a party! I went CAS with this fun card and my new Reverse Confetti party hat stamp & die cut set. I also gave my new Hero Arts Ombre purple ink pad a spin, and man is it fun. I'm still packing (ugh) so I decided to use what was on my desk; a pretty scrap of blue paper that I embossed, some lovely gray cardstock from Simon Says Stamp, and my absolute favorite metallic cardstock. That is how much I love you, Deb - I used metallic cardstock for you! LOL
I used foam tape on the party hat and the die cuts for added fun. It came together quickly and I love the results. Time to Party!
Speaking of party, how about winning that goodie bag? The joys of cleaning is finding extra supplies to giveaway, and I came across this 6x6 pad that's as vibrant as Deb's personality and a set of my favorite Hero Arts ink colors...including cup o' joe. :) Seeing as Deb and I are the coffee addicts of the group, it was only fitting.
US residents only this time due to cost of postage-sorry my international friends |

Ok, the last one is silly, but if you do that will be taken into consideration...LOL
Seeing as I'll be moving all weekend (yikes!) I'm giving you until 11:59pm EST on Sunday, May 24th to enter. Winners will be contacted and announced on Tuesday, May 26th simply because I'll need a day to recover first. ;) Make sure when you leave your comments I have a way to contact you!
Time for me to get another cup of coffee - Happy Crafting!

On another note - I don't drink coffee. Can I send you a 12 pack of Pepsi? That's my drink of choice - lots of caffeine
Uh, hullo? I'm a coffee addict too? Gee, I get no love around here.... LOL. Love your fun card Jen, I thought it was purple foil at first glance and was totally smitten. I'm totally smitten anyway 'cause you rock it, as usual! The only advice I can give you about moving is to throw it all in boxes, forget packing delicate objects individually, and hope for the best!
ReplyDeleteWhat can I say, you hide it better than the rest of us who crawl around looking for drops of coffee...ROFL
DeleteI've only moved once in my life - from a house we lived in for 35 years to our current house. It was really a pain in the .......
ReplyDeletebut it was well-worth it. The only thing that will take away the aggravation is the thought that in a short while everything will be in its place and life will return to normal. Hopefully you are getting better and bigger (or smaller and more compact if that is your wish). take care and don't over-do this weekend. There is always tomorrow. Hugs

Okay, I have 10 pieces of

bloody nose and a broken hand!

Love your fun party hat card! I am a new follower here and happy to find you along the hop! Big congrats to Deb for 1 year of blogging!
ReplyDeleteHere is a cat story for you. I adopted Coco a little over 2 years ago from the local shelter. She fit right in and we love her to pieces! Found out after we adopted her that she was originally picked up as a stray, and has been in at least 4 or homes. The shelter person at the first shelter he was at said she bit someone and was turned back in. So happy to have found her and to provide her with her forever home!
A festive party hat is perfect! If I ever had to move I would be in big trouble--I have so much stuff! I am working on cards made with the envelope punch board for my church stamping group. This week we will be making a shirt and tie card, camera card and mason jar tag/card.

CUTE! Love the embossed background
ReplyDeleteParty time..... Love your little hat with the metallic cardstock. My advise for moving is make sure you label your boxes. Even when you don't want to label them because it And put your craft supply boxes on the truck last so that they will be the FIRST ones you take off. Make sure you leave at least one roll of toilet paper unpacked. Don't ask how I know this advise.I will be praying for a smooth transition and that your move goes as planned.
