O Coffee Tree, O Coffee Tree

Good morning everyone! It's release day over at So Suzy Stamps and that means we have loads of new stamps to show off. Seriously, LOADS! We are all about Christmas in by the Sea this month so I just had to use my new Coffee Tree to make a fun, non-traditional holiday card.

I love my tropical coffee trees! All it took was some masking and I was able to make a small forest of them. I love these colors on the black, so striking and unexpected.

The green tree was stamped first, then I made a mask for it out of Post-it tape. Yes, really! No need to buy the expensive masking paper, for a stamp this size the 2" Post-it Removable Labeling tape was perfect. Lay it over your center tree once it's embossed and cooled to create the pink one, then the yellow. Easy! Of course, the Happiness is... means there's more on the inside:

My kind of holidays! I stamped the sentiment in the Hero Arts Cup o' Joe ink (hehehe) and then sprinkled on clear embossing powder while it was still wet for some added dimension. The front panel was popped with some fun foam onto the card base and this card was done!
