Creating Yourself Paint Splatter Card and Giveaway Winner
Greetings from the land of moving boxes! I just wanted to pop in and share a fun, paint splatter card I created for the ClearSnap blog:
Are you loving it? I'm loving it - so artsy!
I started by die cutting a piece of Neenah Solar White cardstock with the largest Lawn Fawn stitched rectangle, then spraying it with some ColorBox Spritzers in Pumpkin Pie, Putty, and Grasshopper.
I let it sit for a minute (the sprays dry really fast!) and pulled out one of my Unity sentiments. I wanted something creative-themed to go with my paint splatters, so I chose one from a set I picked up a million years ago (give or take), stamped it on vellum diecut with a smaller stitched rectangle to match, and used some yellow Wow! embossing powder to go with the bright background.
A smattering of Pretty Pink Posh sequins and this card was done. I mounted the panel on a top-folding, A2 card made from my favorite Mocha layering paper from Hero Arts.
Also, we have a winner from the Meticulosity blogiversary party:
Congrats Mary! There's an email headed your way, and I even found the box with the prizes in it! LOL Guess you didn't need to send coffee after all. ;)
I'm linking up to Unity Friends with Flair for the first time in forever. I'll be back tomorrow with an a2z Scrapbooking post and on June 1st be sure to join me for the So Suzy Stamps blog hop!
Happy Crafting!

Meticulosity's Blogiversary Party!
Good morning everyone! I'm partying with Deb over at Meticulosity today as she celebrates her one year blogiversary - yahoo! It's hard to believe that I've only known my Debbie Deb Deb for a year now - seems like my sister from another mother has been in my life much longer than that. You can find all of the party fun at Deb's blog: http://meticulosity.blogspot.com/
I have some blog candy to give away as well, but more about that in a moment. First, let's talk party hats!
Now it's a party! I went CAS with this fun card and my new Reverse Confetti party hat stamp & die cut set. I also gave my new Hero Arts Ombre purple ink pad a spin, and man is it fun. I'm still packing (ugh) so I decided to use what was on my desk; a pretty scrap of blue paper that I embossed, some lovely gray cardstock from Simon Says Stamp, and my absolute favorite metallic cardstock. That is how much I love you, Deb - I used metallic cardstock for you! LOL
I used foam tape on the party hat and the die cuts for added fun. It came together quickly and I love the results. Time to Party!
Speaking of party, how about winning that goodie bag? The joys of cleaning is finding extra supplies to giveaway, and I came across this 6x6 pad that's as vibrant as Deb's personality and a set of my favorite Hero Arts ink colors...including cup o' joe. :) Seeing as Deb and I are the coffee addicts of the group, it was only fitting.
For a chance to win, please leave a comment on my blog below telling me all about something that will distract me from the pains of moving. If you want to keep with the Deb & I theme, good topics are crafting, coffee, cats, beer, and online BFFs. ;) For extra entries, you can do the following (but be sure to come back and tell me about it in a separate comment!):
Ok, the last one is silly, but if you do that will be taken into consideration...LOL
Seeing as I'll be moving all weekend (yikes!) I'm giving you until 11:59pm EST on Sunday, May 24th to enter. Winners will be contacted and announced on Tuesday, May 26th simply because I'll need a day to recover first. ;) Make sure when you leave your comments I have a way to contact you!
Time for me to get another cup of coffee - Happy Crafting!

Two New Video Tutorials and an Update
Hey everyone - I'm catching up on my guest blogger posts over at the ClearSnap blog. I've had two more cards making tutorial videos go live over there this week!
You can check out the Stenciled Birthday Card tutorial here
And the Celebrate with Style tutorial here
Remember to subscribe to my YouTube channel so you get updates of all the lovely new videos!
Speaking of updates, it is crazier than normal around here lately...we're moving! Not too far, but enough that we must sort and clean and pack everything, including my craft room! :( That means I'm trying to get ahead of schedule with my design team posts because pretty soon all of my beautiful craft supplies are going to be boxed up and carried over to the new house. Sniff. I might wind up in withdrawal.
This also means that I am cleaning out my supplies as I pack, and do keep coming across things that I no longer need. Interested? Thought you might be. ;) I'm selling them in a few places:
-on Facebook in the Scrapbook Deals group (if you're not already a member, you will have to request to join). My album can be found here: Jennifer's For Sale Album
-local peeps, there are TWO garage sales coming up! One this weekend (message me for details) and one on June 6th as part of the Delanson village-wide yard sale.
I know there's more stuff that I'll be adding to the piles as well, like a box of clear stamps I still need to go through...oof...I'll keep you posted!

So Suzy Stamps May Release
Good morning everyone! It's release day over at So Suzy Stamps, and I'm playing with the new baby buggy and Mother's Day sentiment.
Public Service Announcement - Mother's Day is next Sunday, May 10th. Be ready, people!
I have several friends who are either celebrating their first Mother's Day this year or have little ones on the way, so this stamp is going to be seeing a lot of use...LOL
I kept the buggy gender neutral with greens and yellows, then jazzed up the card with the die cutting and layers of paper. I love how it turned out!
Be sure to check out all the new goodies in the store today and see what my fellow DT girls came up with!
Supply list:
So Suzy Stamps - Pretty Baby Carriage, Happy Mother's Day
Simon Says Stamp - Smoke Gray cardstock, Neenah Solar White cardstock
Mama Elephant - Creative Cuts Basic Set
Authentique 6x6 paper pad
Happy Crafting!
