Spring is in Bloom!

Happy spring everyone! The birds are singing, the chickens are roaming, and my bulbs are sprouting in the garden...the perfect inspiration for this month's DeNami blog hop!

You should have arrived from Emily's blog. If you simply wandered in and want to join in the fun, here are the details:

When: The blog hop starts on April 13, 2014 at 6 AM, PST. However, you have until April 14, 11:59 pm PST, to leave comments on all the blogs (to be eligible for a prize).
Why: To be inspired by fun DeNami Design creations and also the chance to win mini shopping sprees on the DeNami Design website!

Prizes: We are giving away THREE $20 gift certificates to our website! We'll be giving away one gift certificate to a random participant (DT members not eligible) and then we'll also be giving away TWO gift certificates to TWO people who comment along the hop!

I spread out my collection of stamps to see what I was going to use this time, and my little creative brain looked at the Scallop Circle stamp a little differently:
Buttons & bows & washi, oh my!
I stamped the scalloped circle at varying heights in different colors of Memento inks, then colored them in with my Spectrum Noir pens. The stems & leaves were added with a green Spica glitter pen, and then they were 'planted' in the polka dot washi grass.
Twine bows - divine!
Some buttons for the centers and twine bows made these flowers complete. A bit of Distress Ink for the sky and this card was done!

I hope you enjoyed this month's card! Now you're off to Pattie's blog to continue the fun.

Happy Crafting!
