Good morning everyone! It's November 1st which means new stamps and free shipping all day at
So Suzy Stamps. We had so much fun this month playing with the new release. I decided to try a new-to-me technique using Distress Inks.
I made a background panel with Fossilized Amber, Carved Pumpkin, Fired Brick and Wilted Violet then heat embossed the beautiful new
Whimsy Tree with clear embossing powder. Smoosh Black Soot all over the top and you have such a unique background!
Once all that was dry, I heat embossed the
Greatest Oak sentiment in gold embossing powder for a fun metallic pop and attached the panel to a standard A2 base in Bazzil Marshmallow.
The inside got some love, too!
Be sure to check out what the
rest of the team came up with! Happy Crafting!

ReplyDeleteBreathtaking! How did you do the background? I followed you up until embossing the tree in clear to pick up the colors beneath. It's so so pretty!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous! Love it!
ReplyDeleteWhat a clever technique, haven't heard of this one before but will be definitely trying it as it's really beautiful. Thank you for the inspiration, gorgeous and striking card x
