C is for Cat and Coffee and Coffee Lover's Summer Hop!

Woohoo - it's coffee hopping time again!! I'm joining in as I'm pretty sure with a blog name like Caffeinated Papercuts it would be illegal for me to not link up at least one project...LOL

We're having some gals leave the So Suzy Stamps Design Team, so Monica decided it would be fabulous to exchange ATCs - a little something to forever remember the very first DT by, ya know? Well crazy-busy moving, cat losing, cat finding, crafting out of boxes me finally got mine in the mail, and what better to remember me by than this:

Yup, I finally mailed them Jasper-cat! LOL

I started by running some Core'dinations paper through my awesome new Tim Holtz coffee embossing folder. Then I stamped out Jasper onto Neenah Solar White cardstock using my Espresso Truffle Memento ink as I was going to be coloring with my Spectrum Noir markers. While those dried a bit, I grabbed the set of coffee stamps that came with the Simon Says Stamp October 2014 card kit and a cute pad of 6x6 MME paper to stamp out my coffee cups and sayings. Then I got a little nervous and cut one of the kitties in half to nestle him behind the cup - it worked perfectly!

And yes, I am insane and fussy-cut all (10) kitties and mugs out myself. Oy. Good thing I love these gals! To color in the coffee I used the chocolate glitter Spica pen and then used foam tape to attach Jasper and his coffee to the ATC base. All done!
